Learn my secret to bodybuilding longevity

I had been weight training for around six years before I entered my first bodybuilding competition at the age of 21. Time passed, my training continued for a further 23 years before I stepped up and won my first Mr Universe Title at the age of 44.

Bodybuilding is a lifestyle, success doesn’t happen overnight. Longevity is achieved through implementing sensible training practices day in day out.

Here are some of my tips for staying on top and in the bodybuilding game for longer:

  • Be realistic
  • Build a solid foundation first
  • Self-motivate
  • Have a solid work ethic
  • Believe in yourself
